Complete the onboarding setup wizard

In this article we take you through the key areas of your onboarding setup.

As an administrator or editor, you'll see the Getting Started window within Access Policies & Procedures. This window is to personalise the system to your needs.

Basic information

This area needs answers in the empty spaces. We suggest reaching out to your Data Protection Officer if you need help filling these in.

πŸ€“ Tip: Some questions have radio buttons that copy suggested text into the editing box.

If your organisation has more than one location, you can use the Location Override feature.


Policies without personalisation

This area shows the list of policies assigned to your organisation but don't require personalisation before publishing.

Personalise a policy

If you want to personalise any policy, read our handy guide.

Review later

If you don't want to preview the policy, you can publish them and review them later.

  • Click Select all, then click Publish.


Service delivery

This area is to confirm details about the service delivery of your business.

  • Complete each section then click Save.

When you're happy with the answers, you can go back to the Progress summary page.


Managing people

This area is about managing your people.

πŸ€“Tip: You can print the list to gather the information ready to complete this section by clicking the Print/Export button on the right-hand side.

  1. Complete all the applicable questions and delete anything you don't need.

  2. Once complete, click Policy Management.

  3. Under To Review, work through the remaining policies.

  4. When finished, click Next, then Finish.

When you're complete, you're ready to allocate the policies to your staff.
